Renée M. Williams

Renée Williams is a Founding broker at Real Estate For A Cause, a Committee member of the Warwick Valley Rotary Club, and a member of Leadership Orange — helping to identify and cultivate the next generation of leaders in Orange County. A product of a proud military family with Midwestern roots, her many travels and several years living abroad have installed a deep-rooted commitment to serving others. Renée is bright, charming, and savvy, with the firsthand expertise to operate with the utmost confidence and transparency that her buyers, sellers, and investors have come to rely upon. An authentic personality with a genuine warmth towards an individual's circumstance and opinion. 

Her career began as a political analyst in London's Parliament, followed by nearly a decade in Private Equity as a Financial Analyst in Midtown, Manhattan, at a global real estate-oriented merchant bank, asset management, and investment company — the industry leader in distressed and value-focused real estate investing (and owner of NAI Global and PZR, the nation's largest zoning due diligence company) earning her unrivaled experience across the real estate industry.

She relinquished her role at C-III Capital Partners at the end of 2019 to devote more time to social impact matters. Renée has since led Corporate Relations, Diversity Training, and Partnership Engagement at a minority-led, technology and social impact company in SoHo, New York providing top millennial, corporate professionals access to philanthropic, board leadership opportunities within well-known nonprofits and foundations.

Having purchased a two-bedroom, Greenwood Lake property in forclosure in 2017, she expanded, and redeveloped the property into an aclaimed five-bedroom, three-story contemporary modern, lakefront home with her husband. Renée is a licensed professional with experience across mixed-use commercial and residential real estate and firsthand property development experience. A Political Science graduate of Boston University and Foreign Language Studies at London School of Economics, Renée is also an active member of the prestigious Alumni Society, an elite network of senior-level Latinx leaders who graduated from the country's top universities.

A former nationally ranked Rhythmic Gymnast and New England Patriots Cheerleader, Renée enjoys an active life full of travel and adventures with her husband and two young children in the Hudson Valley.

 

Carmela Lopez Borrazas

Carmela Lopez Borrazas is the co-recipient of Warwick’s 2020-2021 Outstanding Community Service award. Having left a fledging legal career in her native Spain, Carmela is a multilingual businesswoman with a deep-rooted personal obligation to help others. A fervent and tenacious personality has exemplified her record in making an impact. 

With roles across property management, accounting, and operations, Carmela is an independent thinker with an attentive approach to problem-solving.

Carmela Borrazas, together with Nicole McCormick, developed the Warwick Relief Market, which earned the Warwick’s 2020-2021 Outstanding Community Service award, forging several initiatives to drive community awareness and raise funds in support. Through her Hugs for Courage Initiative, she raised awareness of Veteran & First Responer’s suicide due to PSTD, and her relief efforts for small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic until today reportadly raised around $1.3 million to support more than 300 local businesses in the Orange County, NY area, with a focus on Warwick & Monroe. She worked with local business owners to adjust to New York State re-opening guidelines, establish online capabilities to continue trading during the statewide business closures and provide guidance in the corporate restructuring of over 30 LLCs or DBAs in direct response to the pandemic.

As the Warwick Valley Country Club’s former Committee Chair of Events and Entertainment, Carmela initiated the club’s inaugural fundraising effort to benefit the Warwick Emergency Fund. Her passion for organizing events for Seniors, Veterans, Active Military & First Responders is well-known.
